- 2 pints of strawberries sliced thickly
- 3 tbsps Wagco Dark Chocolate Balsamic
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- lemon zest
- ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sherbet (optional)
Wash the strawberries and remove the leafy tops. Slice strawberries into half slices and transfer to a medium bowl. Set aside.
About an hour before serving, add the dark chocolate balsamic, sugar, and ground pepper.
Stir to coat the slices evenly and set aside for about an hour.
When you are ready to serve, scoop into a bowl with ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sherbet, and garnish with lemon zest.
