- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- pinch of fine sea salt
- 2 tbsps dark rum
- 2 tbsps Wagco Cara Cara Orange/Vanilla Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup of cream
In a small saucepan, bring brown sugar, sea salt, rum, balsamic, and water to simmer. Add the cream and reduce the heat to medium-low. Whisk frequently until the sauce starts to thicken. Make sure to watch the sauce carefully, so it will not boil over. Once sauce has thickened remove it from heat and let it cool. Use this sauce as a topping for ice cream, cakes, brownies, or fruit.
